Life Learners - Education Booth

Romeo, MI - Sept. 3-5: Hundreds of festival-goers stopped by the "Life is a Peach" Education Booth on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the Peach Festival. The booth was located in front of River of God Church one block east of Main Street in Romeo Village.
Visitors took our "life quiz" and got a free life awareness bracelet, entered a free drawing for a nice gift basket, received free "Life is a Peach" lapel stickers and balloons, purchased "Life is a Peach" t-shirts, picked-up free information about upcoming events such as the Romeo Life Chain on October 3, and enjoy LifeSaver candies.
One of the highlights on Sunday afternoon was a visit to our booth by 2010 Peach Queen Makenna Doyle and runner-up Leah Hobbs. The young ladies, both graduates of Romeo High School, took the prolife quiz and chatted with the volunteers before heading off to the next engagement in their very full schedule.
