Life Savers - Volunteer
"Life is a Peach" is made up of concerned citizens who give of their time, talent, and treasure because they believe strongly that life is an unalienable right that all human beings, born and unborn, possess. We are volunteers who defend and promote the right to life from conception onward. The right to life movement embodies a potent volunteer spirit that has enabled us to decrease the number of abortions in Michigan by 50 percent since the sad peak year of 1989.
There are many ways for you to get involved in the fight for life based on your personal interests, talents, and time availability. No contribution is too small. Some people support life with their financial gifts. Others attend prolife events, such as life chains or prayer vigils, whenever possible. Still others take a more active leadership role in their church, local Right to Life of Michigan (RLM) affiliate, or pregnancy help center.
Efforts to defend and proclaim the unalienable right to life involve prayer, education, community outreach, legislative lobbying, political action, fund-raising, administrative organization, and good old fashioned "elbow grease". No matter your skill set or experience, you can help spread the message that "life is a peach" -- GUARANTEED!
